Cut almost any material with one compact machine
TamCut brings the versatility of waterjet cutting into your own production. With one compact machine, you can cut metals, glass, plastics, rubber, stone, tiles, composites, wood, cardboard and many other materials.
Waterjet cutting is a cold cutting process. This means no heat-affected zone, no burning, no melting and no material-specific cutting tool. It is especially useful when you need clean shapes, holes, prototypes, single parts or small production batches in different materials.

Cut almost any material with one compact machine
Waterjet cutting is a cold cutting process — no heat-affected zone, no burning, no melting and no material-specific cutting tool.
Metal waterjet cutting
TamCut can be used for aluminium, steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, titanium and other metals. Abrasive waterjet cutting makes it possible to cut accurate shapes, holes and details without heat-affected zones or thermal distortion.
Glass waterjet cutting
TamCut can cut straight lines, holes, openings and complex shapes in glass without heat or a mechanical blade. It is well suited for prototypes, special shapes and small batches.
Plastic & rubber waterjet cutting
TamCut is suitable for many technical plastics and rubber materials. Waterjet cutting avoids melting, burning and mechanical blade wear, making it useful for gaskets, covers, seals and technical parts.
Stone & tile waterjet cutting
TamCut can be used for ceramic tiles, marble, natural stone and other stone-based sheet materials. It enables special shapes, openings and holes without thermal damage.
Composite waterjet cutting
TamCut is suitable for many composite materials, including carbon fibre, glass fibre and layered materials. Waterjet cutting helps avoid heat damage and reduces the need for mechanical cutting tools.
Wood, cardboard and other materials
TamCut can also be used for plywood, thin wood, cardboard, paper, foam materials and many special materials. Because these materials vary widely, test cutting is recommended to confirm the best cutting method and quality.
Why it works
Why waterjet works for many materials
Five properties of the process explain why one machine can handle steel, glass, rubber and carbon fiber alike.
01
Cold cutting process
Waterjet cutting is a cold cutting process. No significant heat is generated during cutting, which helps preserve the material’s original properties and reduces the risk of thermal damage.
02
No heat-affected zone
Because the material is not exposed to high cutting temperatures, there is no heat-affected zone. This is especially important for metals, plastics, composites and other materials where heat can affect strength, structure or appearance.
03
No burning or melting
Waterjet cutting does not burn, melt or harden the material during cutting. This makes it suitable for materials that are sensitive to heat, such as plastics, rubber, composites, glass and certain coated or layered materials.
04
No material-specific cutting tool
The same waterjet cutting process can be used for a wide range of materials. There is no need for a separate blade, saw, drill or milling tool for each material, which makes TamCut flexible for changing production needs.
05
Ideal for prototypes and small batches
TamCut is well suited for prototypes, single parts and small production batches. Different materials and part geometries can be cut with the same machine, helping reduce outsourcing, shorten lead times and improve in-house flexibility.
Use cases
Typical use cases
What customers actually cut once the machine is on their own floor
Prototypes
TamCut is ideal for cutting prototypes from different materials without dedicated tooling. This makes it easier to test shapes, materials and design changes quickly.
Single parts
When only one or a few parts are needed, waterjet cutting can be a practical alternative to outsourcing, milling or manufacturing special tools.
Small batches
TamCut supports low-volume production and small series where flexibility, short lead times and material versatility are more important than high-volume automation.
Holes and cut-outs
Waterjet cutting makes it possible to cut holes, openings, slots and internal contours directly from a drawing. This is useful for covers, panels, fixtures, gaskets and technical parts.
Complex shapes
TamCut can cut detailed flat part geometries, curved 2D contours and irregular shapes without changing tools. This gives more freedom in part design compared with many traditional cutting methods.
Maintenance parts
For maintenance and repair teams, TamCut can help produce replacement parts, brackets, covers, spacers, seals and other small components in-house when they are needed.
